Scrapblogging a Museum Visit

While in New York for the Games for Change conference (blog reports to come soon), I decided to check out the “Designing for the Other 90%” exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Took a few photos, noted down some thoughts, and decided to … scrapblog it.

scrapblog is the newest blog kid around town, so like any self-respecting techie, I had to check it out. :)

It is a combination of scrap booking and blogging and provides a solution to those times when just a blog or photo tool is not sufficient and you really need a combination of the two to display photo and text in really creative ways. See the Sustainable Design scrapblog below to get a sense of its potential.

note: clicking on ‘View Full Size’ expands the display and makes text readable. you can also post your comments there. (hint, hint!)

While I was scrapblogging, I noticed that they are also running a blogher07 contest. You enter by tagging your scrapblog with blogher07. A randomly selected set of winners will get an all-expenses-paid trip to the BlogHer 07 conference. Each view means one more entry. So, please view my masterpiece multiple times. ;-)

    Vichu,

What browser version are you on? Can you see the yellow button at the center of the scrapblog? First click activates it and second click gets the slideshow to play.

If that does not work, try this direct link: http://www.scrapblog.com/viewer/viewer.aspx?sbid=34753

It is a large file, so it might take a while for it to load.

Let me know if you still cannot see the slideshow.
